Thank you for your interest in The Gateway Tour Lite.
Created to serve players who aspire to play professional golf full-time, The Gateway Tour Lite will help a player develop the necessary skills to compete against the best players in developmental tour golf.

Series Overview
The Gateway Tour Lite will operate 18 & 36-hole events during The Gateway Tour's off-times in an effort to give a broader spectrum of professional golfer the opportunity to play well-run events at a lower cost than The Gateway Tour. Each event will utilize the same guidelines The Gateway Tour has since its inception:
- Consistent tee times
- Top-level venues
- Challenging course set-ups
- A knowledgeable, professional, and courteous staff
The Gateway Tour Lite Series will also offer special bonuses for those who play well to make the Lite Series stand unique in its own class:
- The winner of every event will receive free entry into the next scheduled event (18 hole winners will receive credit into the next scheduled 18 hole event only (no roll-overs), and 36 hole winners will receive credit into the next scheduled 36 hole event or the next two scheduled 18 hole events).
- Monthly point leaders will earn free entry into a 54-hole event of their choice (point system information coming soon).
- A $20 buy-in (cash only) for a daily skins game will be provided in each event.
- Checks will be paid out on-site in each event.
REGISTRATION DETAILS
A player may register for any Lite event either online with a credit card, or by calling The Gateway Tour office and paying on-site in cash.

• Call the Tour Office at (623) 594-6158 to register over the phone with the and to purchase the event by CASH only.
- The player in this case would bring the tournament entry fee in CASH (NO personal checks) to the tournament site and give to the starter in charge.
- Tournament fees will follow suit with the same time guidelines as stated above.
Format & Pricing
• 18 hole events:
$200 for members
$250 for non-members
$150 for Amateurs
* Must register no later than 5:00 pm (MST), Three (3) days before the tournament’s start date.
OR
$225 for members
$275 for non-members
$175 for Amateurs
* Must register no later than 5:00 pm (MST) the night before the tournament’s start date.
• 36 hole events:
$400 for members
$450 for non-members
$300 for Amateurs
* Must register no later than 5:00 pm (MST), three (3) days before the tournament’s start date.
OR
$425 for members
$475 for members
$325 for Amateurs
* Must register no later than 5:00 pm (MST), the night before the tournament’s start date.
• 2009 membership cost: $200 (good for 1 yr from purchase)
*Current 2009 Gateway Tour members will become automatic Gateway Tour Lite members and will not have to pay the $200 membership fee.
*Amateurs will not have to pay the $200 membership fee.
Purses
Payouts to 36% of the starting field
Sample purses shown in the Purses section illustrate the low-end of potential payouts. The sample purses are based off of a high-cost golf course, but because some courses charge the Tour less than others (i.e. the Tour would not have to take as much money out of the purse to pay for the course), the purses for events at lower-cost golf courses will be higher than what is sampled.
